the breakfast was delicious. i really liked that the staff was so friendly and helpful. the views were beautiful, such an ideal location, i thought. parking was easy right outside.
the room i stayed in was a little dated. the shower was hard to use, it was difficult to switch it from being a bath. i was also worried about the floor, it was very wet and slippery.

Underwhelming Room. Service Acceptable

helpfulfriendly staffbad damp smellgreen algae
Breakfast was good and the staff were great. That much is true.
The room could use some attention as it had a bad damp smell even with the window open. Green algae grew along the shower screen. Mold and rust covered the bathroom tiles.

Charming stay in a Cotswold gem

traditional architectureefficient staffenglish breakfastdaily cleaning
The inn impressed me with its traditional architecture and inviting atmosphere. I enjoyed a really good pint of guinness from the bar. The staff was very friendly and efficient . Breakfast stood out with a full English option served without much grease.
I noticed the absence of daily cleaning services which was a minor inconvenience. Cups were not washed and my bed was not made daily. It is important to note that this is not a self-catering facility.
